PRO-BUNNIES BASIC ROUTINE
Bunny from Nowhere
Place 2 adults + 5 babies in an outside jacket pocket. Hide a third adult at the bend of your right elbow under your sleeve.
Performance:
- Casually show both hands empty. With your right hand, pull up your left sleeve.
- Your left hand then pulls up your right sleeve — secretly stealing the hidden bunny at the elbow.
- Bring your hands palm-to-palm, concealing the bunny between them.
- Rub your palms and ask the spectator to blow — then slowly separate your hands to reveal: a bunny has appeared from nowhere.
While they are reacting...
Steal another bunny from your pocket under the guise of collecting ‘magic dust’.
Take back the first bunny in your empty hand. Secretly press the hidden bunny against the other as if tearing it — reveal that the bunny has now “multiplied” into two!
Flying Bunnies
Begin with both adults on the table
- Pick one up with your right hand (fingertips only).
- Place it in your open left palm and close your left fingers over the bunny and your right fingers.
- As your right fingers come out, steal the bunny back.
- Immediately pick up the second bunny, secretly squeezing both together to look like one.
- Place the one bunny in the spectator’s hand and close their fingers around it.
- Say a magic word. Open your hand to show your bunny has vanished and travelled into their hand!
The Pocket Escape
After they’ve found two in their hand, secretely steal the third adult and keep it hidden in your right hand.
- Pick up one of the tabled bunnies with your right hand (now secretly two bunnies) and place them into your closed left hand.
- Then, pick up the second adult from the table with your right hand and place it into your pocket.
- Leave the adult behind and steal all five babies as you remove your hand from the pocket. Remember to hold them casually.
- Draw attention to your left hand, then reveal the adult has jumped back to your hand yet again.
Baby Bunny Finale
You have 2 visible bunnies and 5 babies hidden in your right hand.
- Pick up the 2 bunnies with your right hand, adding the hidden bunny.
- Press them tightly into the spectator’s hand and help them curl their fingers into a fist.
- Ask them: “How many are in there now?” They’ll might say “two” or “three”, or any other guess
- Tell them to concentrate — they may feel something happening…
- When they open their hand — a whole bunny family!
Practice until the moves look natural, then focus on being entertaining
